This is for all the parents out there who are praying for a lost one to be found. Maybe it's a brother, a sister, an aunt or an uncle, a son or even a daughter.
As I was reading in the battlefield of the mind I came
across some interesting information that I never linked together for
myself. Even after years of studying, I never knew that I could ask for
evil thoughts (foreboding-anxiousness) to be
cast down (thrown out)
I never really
knew that mind binding spirits
(bad seeds, thoughts of addiction (food, drugs, alcohol, sugar, etc.)) could control your mind from the seed the devil places within our thoughts and that it was something we could ask God to remove from our
heads.
The thoughts of evil spirits Lurking around is plain ole creepy but they do exist because the devil (the fallen angel) exists. It mentions many times in the
book of life (bible) that Jesus called demons by name and commanded them to
leave.
What name will you give your demon? Drugs, alcohol, control, worry, fear, addiction, it has a name!
However if you ask
every day for God to help you and command them to leave your head
(throw the thought out), then by Faith and
Belief they will be gone.
How many times do you have to ask? Hundreds or as many as it takes until he knows that
they no longer control or rule your mind. That is a choice you make. It’s called Free Will. God places before you
“Life and Death” hoping you will chose life. However he will never take
away your ability (Free Will) for you to choose this and the devil never runs out of lethal darts to throw against us
when we are trying to move forward which is why we must continually ask for Gods help.
So for all the parents praying for a loved one, keep on praying because God can use those prayers to open someones ears and plant a seed of Hope. However we must trust his perfect plan even when we can't see things working. Gods timing is not our timing.
As you stop and think about where you are in your life and how to avoid those same
lethal darts again and again, do thoughts of "how do I do this" and "where can I find the tools" come across your mind?
Ask the “Spirit of Truth” to show you the way, ask for understanding
but search for the signs.
Faith is a product of the Spirit. Only you
can decide to believe that his will can be done. You can’t do it
yourself, you can’t do it in the flesh, you do need his help or the devil will
control your mind all the way to hell (death)
When I read this today, it
dawned on me, that this is a test of one's faith. It’s a test you have to tell yourself you won’t
fail and begin to realize that the devil tests all of us with a loved ones weakness. He would love nothing more than to see a parent fail, to see a grandparent fail, a loved one fail, a brother or a sister fail the test of faith.
“Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the
faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?”
2 Corinthians 13:5
2 Corinthians 13:5
“Don't worry about anything, but in
all your prayers ask God for what you need, always asking him with a thankful
heart. And God's peace, which is far beyond human understanding, will keep your hearts
and minds safe in union with Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6-7
Philippians 4:6-7
God tries to open your eyes through someone praying over you but it's up to the person being prayed for to listen: (I have leaned on him in my weakness and never
once did I deny his name) although a journey with a loved ones choice is hard, you must find your strength in God because he will make you a better person because of
the lesson. You see I too am learning to trust as I wait on his perfect plan.
“I know
your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut.
I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not
denied my name.”
