Challenge what you do
If we continue to challenge everything we do and question if it's right or wrong, then and only then do we become better as a person

Scholarship Ideas
Looking for ideas on how to give scholarship money to teens who do good deeds for their community. These good deeds could include but not limited to helping a senior citizen, giving time to someone in their community, helping the poor & needy, doing something great for their school, doing something above and beyond for their church or just donating some time at a shelter or nursing home. Let me know if you have any thoughts on this.

A young man in his 20's
Waking into Target this evening where I was greeted by three employees and one guest who had apparently stole something. As the three employees tackled the young man in his early 20's at my feet, I asked myself how his life got to where it was. Laying on the ground struggling to get away, I wondered if he had anyone in his life that showed him they cared. Knowing that his night would be spent in jail with no hope, no idea of how his life would end up.
I wondered if someone would have reached out to him in his days of development as a young teen if his life would have been different. These are the thoughts that make my mind wander.

Lakota Teens
Did you know the second leading cause of death for Lakota teens is suicide? American Indians between 15 & 24 years of age commit suicide at a rate of more than 3 times the national average.
Counseling helps, gathering places for youths help and programs that offer HOPE to show teens that suicide is NOT the answer. You can help a teen by just reaching out to someone in need.

How can we change 1 teen life?
Change a teen life by providing time, your time. It takes nothing to make a call, send a text or take someone for a quick bite to eat. What a change it would make letting someone know they are special. Think about how that would make 1 teen feel...
All they want to know is that someone is actually paying attention to them in a positive way.
